Plot Summary: The story begins with a common man (kamal) who calls up the commissioner of police Raghavan Maraar (Mohanlal) and tells him that bombs have been planted across different locations of the city. He demands that four hardcore terrorists who have been part of the Mumbai blasts and other arsons in the country are to be released. Raghavan takes the help of task force specialist Arif Khan (ganesh) and tough cop Gautham (prem) in arranging for the whole process and also trying to locate the whereabouts of the caller. Just when things look set for the terrorists to go scot free, an interesting and surprising twist takes place much to the shock of many. What is that twist? that forms the essence of the story.
